Due to the security situation, ERV's risk analysts regard the border areas of Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo as risk areas.

Insurance cover is available for private individuals travelling to this area, but an additional risk premium will be charged. Business travellers have the same insurance cover as usual.
