visitors must carry ID. Due to the risk of theft, officials are satisfied if you can show them a photocopy of the data page of your passport, as well as the arrival stamp. Leave the original document at the hotel.
It is illegal to photograph public buildings.
We recommend that you travel by authorised taxis only, and that you sit in the back. Never leave food and drink unsupervised. Drink bottled water only.
