Oman
Översikt
Oman is a secure Gulf state that enjoys positive regional relations and a high level of domestic stability. Despite being among the most stable countries in the Gulf, concerns of terrorist infiltration through the western border with Yemen remain, but the robust security forces mitigate the risk of militants establishing a firm foothold in the country. Strikes and civil demonstrations are rare and generally does not pose a significant challenge for travelers. While basic mitigation measures are recommended, the risk of crime in Oman is low. Road traffic accidents are of concern when travelling in the country. Despite experiencing extremely high temperatures, climatic conditions rarely endanger individual safety.
