Uruguay
Översikt
The government actively encourages political and economic cooperation in the region and aside from certain contemporary diplomatic tensions with Argentina, the risk of interstate armed conflict is considered very low. The risks of terrorism and civil insurgency or warfare are negligible. Demonstrations are frequent but generally peaceful. Whilst petty crime is an increasing concern, the threat of violent crime is low.
