Regarding missed departures
Our Missed departure component will reimburse if you are delayed on the way to the airport due to unforeseen events and can not reach the latest check-in time specified by the airline or airport. Here we reimburse necessary and reasonable additional costs to arrive at your final destination.
Note that none of our insurances cover personal delays, missed departures or missed connecting flights that occur as a result of a queue at a passport or security check at the airport.
- Have your policy number or booking number available
- Have your bank account information available
- Have any documents that confirm the incident available
- Attach scanned receipts and certificates to speed up the process when making your claim. Accepted formats are: jpg, pdf and doc.
When can I report a claim?
You can report a claim as soon as something has happened. You do not have to wait until you return home from your trip. The easiest way to report a claim is here on our website. You can submit a claim at any time, day or night, from any place in the world.
What happens after my claim is submitted?
After your claim is submitted you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. It is very important that you read this. Once we have received all requested documents we will start working on your claim. Under normal circumstances you will be contacted by us within one week. During more hectic periods it can take up to four weeks before you receive an answer.
Can I provide receipts and certificates at a later date?
If you want to send receipts and certificates to us after your claim has been reported you are welcome to do so by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (only state your claim number in the subject line!) or by mail to Europeiska ERV, Torshamnsgatan 35, 164 40 Kista, Sweden. Always refer to your claim number that you receive after the claim has been reported.
